Composer/Lyricist of Australian Outback Spectacular
Lee Kernaghan is one of Australian music’s greatest artists. Since bursting on to the scene in 1992 with his groundbreaking "Outback Club" album, Lee’s music has captured the imagination of the nation. His contribution to Australian music has seen him awarded 20 Golden Guitars, 3 ARIA Awards and numerous gold, platinum and double platinum records, with total record sales of almost one million albums.
It is through his music that Lee has cemented his place as one of this country’s true stars. Whether it is performing to 50,000 fans “going off” at the Gympie Muster or at one of his legendary Pass the Hat fundraising concerts in the bush, Lee’s music has a special and broad appeal.
As an artist Lee is going from strength to strength. His latest album "The New Bush” is destined to become another benchmark album. It captures the heartbeat of living in Australia today – the people, the lifestyle and the land…. and heralds a new dawn for Australian country music.
Lee is proud to be a part of the Australian Outback Spectacular. “To have my songs included in this production is an honour” Lee said. “This show will become one of Australia’s major entertainment destinations for many years to come and will introduce millions of Australians and overseas visitors to the Australian Outback. To be a part of telling this story through my music is a career highlight for me”.
